Are you wondering, “What career is right for me?” It’s a common question for students exploring their futures. At the University Career Center, we understand this and offer a range of career assessment tools designed to provide clarity and direction. These assessments, combined with personalized career counseling, can significantly aid you in making informed decisions about your academic major and future career path. Let’s explore how these resources can help you unlock your potential.
Professional Career Counseling with Assessment Instruments
For students seeking a comprehensive approach to career exploration, our University Career Center (UCC) provides in-depth career counseling sessions. During these hour-long appointments, you’ll work with a dedicated career coach who will guide you through the process of using career assessment instruments. These tools, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), CliftonStrengths (CS), and the Strong Interest Inventory (SII), are valuable resources to integrate into your academic and career decision-making process.
If you’re considering taking a career assessment, we encourage you to reach out to us. We can discuss your current decision-making strategies and help you determine which assessment will be the most beneficial for your unique needs. We also want to ensure that these resources are accessible to everyone. If financial concerns are a barrier, please contact us at 734-764-7460 or email Joelle Fundaro Randall at [email protected] to inquire about potential scholarship opportunities.
